The term ‘ARESA’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ or ‘user’ or ‘customer’ or ‘member’ refers to you, the user or viewer of our website.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing the website and using any facilities or services made available through or on it, you have agreed to the terms and conditions set forth by ARESA. You agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of our website. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms, please do not access and/or use our website.

We may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by us. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.

In cases whereby you are linked to a third parties website via ARESA, the liability of ensuring that you are agreeable with the terms and conditions as set forth by the third parties website will be on the user.

 

  1. User of the Website and User Status

1.1 By placing an order to purchase product(s) through the website, you, the user of the website, confirms that you are legally capable of entering a binding contract and is at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in Singapore. If you are below 18 years of age or applicable age of majority, please seek consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s). If you do not have the consent, please stop using/accessing the website and the services provided.

1.2 ARESA does not make any kind of representation that information on the website is appropriate for use in any jurisdiction outside of Singapore. By accessing the website, the liability to make sure that you are legally entitled to use the website is your responsibility.

1.3 ARESA will not be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense of whatever nature due to any unauthorised use of the website and the service it provides.

1.4 Account registration is needed in order to use the service that the website provides. When you register, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. Should any of your registration information change, please notify us immediately via email at info@aresa.sg.

1.5 ARESA reserves the right to terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these terms and conditions.

 

  1. Membership and Reward Program

2.1 ARESA offers all our registered member, with residency in Singapore, a reward system called Invitation Reward System(“reward system”). The Invitation Reward System is limited to individuals only. All individuals are only eligible for one account with ARESA to participate in the reward system. If a foul play or fraud is suspected, ARESA reserves the right to refuse to process an purchase order, your request to transfer your credits, as well as terminating your account. You must also be a legal resident of Singapore to be eligible for the reward system.

2.2 Under the reward system, you will be eligible to earn ARESA Credits(“Credits”) at the rate specified on the website under the Member Benefits tab when you purchase products on ARESA’s website. You are also eligible to earn Credits when you top up your ARESA Wallet. These Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.

2.3 The percentage of ARESA Credits/rebates that each registered member are entitled to after purchasing products or topping up of ARESA Wallet will be according to what has been stated in the Member Benefits tab. These percentages are pre-determined by ARESA. If an error occurred in the reward system which causes a discrepancy in the amount of the reward, rebate or Credits given, ARESA reserves the rights to deny the rebate, reward or Credit given.

2.4 If fraud or foul play of the reward system is suspected, ARESA reserves the rights to suspend the user’s account to investigate and deny any request to transfer the rebate, reward or Credits into ARESA Wallet. ARESA also reserves the rights to terminate the accounts which are suspected to be involved in fraud or foul play.

2.5 ARESA reserves the right to change the rate at which you will earn your Credits for any reason whatsoever, without notification.

 

  1. Availability and Content of the Website

3.1 ARESA reserves the right to suspend the website for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to repair, planned maintenance or upgrades, and shall not be liable to you for any such suspension.

3.2 We take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

3.3 We do not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3.4 Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

3.5 ARESA reserves the right to make any changes to the Website or to discontinue any aspect or feature of the Website without notice.

3.6 In the event that ARESA, in its sole discretion, considers that you are making any illegal and/or unauthorised use of the Website, and/or your use of the Website is in breach of these Terms, ARESA reserves the right to take any action that it deems necessary, including terminating without notice your use of the Website and, in the case of illegal use, instigating legal proceedings.

 

  1. Product Information

4.1 All prices of the products are in Singapore Dollars (“SGD”) and is only effective in Singapore. The price of the products payable by you shall be the listing price at the time at which the Order is placed by you (through ARESA Platform). Listing Prices might be subjected to taxes unless otherwise stated.

4.2 All information presented on the website is intended for informational purposes only. The results stated in the information may not occur for all individuals and may differ from person to person. The information stated about the product cannot be deemed as professional medical advice. If you are unsure about the product, please seek for a dermatologist or physician for professional medical advice.

4.3 Please seek advice or recommendation from relevant professionals if any minor are to use products purchased through ARESA’s website. The product should only be applied with proper supervision.

4.4 All products should only be used strictly in accordance with the stated instructions and its intended use. If the instructions on the products are unclear, please seek clarification with dermatologist or physicians.

4.5 In order to prevent any allergy or adverse reaction caused by the application of the product, please check the ingredients of the product which can be found on the product page. The liability to make sure that products are suitable for their applications will be on the user.

4.6 Please do not sell any products you have purchased through ARESA’s website. All products purchased are for personal usage only.

4.7 Product information (e.g. descriptions, pricing, offers, availability) found on ARESA’s website may contain omissions and inaccuracies.

4.8 ARESA reserves the right to make changes or cancel your orders as well as changing or updating the information without prior notice.

4.9 ARESA reserves the right to amend the listing prices at any time without giving any reason or prior notice.

 

  1. Credit Card Payment

5.1 You must use your own credit card for the credit card transaction. ARESA will not be liable for any credit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently will be on the user and the onus to ‘prove otherwise’ shall be exclusively on the user.

5.2 ARESA will never ask for your credit information directly. We will only confirm, but never ask, for your credit card information. Please do not divulge your credit card information. If such cases occur, please contact ARESA at info@aresa.sg.

 

  1. Trademarks

6.1 The trademarks, names, logos displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trademarks of the Website Owner and the suppliers of the products listed on the Website. Without written permission of ARESA, you should not assume that ARESA granted you any license or right to use any trademark.

 

  1. Indecent Interaction

7.1 You agree not to use the website to transmit any message or material that is unlawful or profane. ARESA do not undertake any loss, liability, damage or expense of whatever nature to you or your company due to, directly or indirectly, your usage of the website to transmit such message or material.

 

  1. ARESA Refund or Exchange Policy

8.1 ARESA do not allow refunds due to customer’s oversight during the ordering process. The liability to ensure that the orders are correct will be on the user. This is to prevent foul play of the website. However, you may email sales@aresa.sg to explain your situation and we will assess the situation before making a decision.

8.2 ARESA do not accept Product Return due to the nature of the products sold. This is to prevent product tampering. Thus, we do not process refunds or exchanges. The only exception given for product return is during delivery collection of large orders or during self-collection of the product at our Headquarters.

8.3 In the event that you received a defective or incorrect product, please contact ARESA immediately with your name, order ID and the image of the product. The product must be in its original purchase condition, packaging must be unopened and not defaced in any manner. For set items, a whole set must be returned together. ARESA will not do refund or return on any products that have already been opened or tampered with.

8.4 Products returned by you on-site because of a defect will be exchanged with the same product, if available, or another product with a value equivalent to the defected product. In cases whereby a product with equivalent value is not available, ARESA reserves the rights to exchange it with a product of higher value or refund you the full amount, including a refund of any standard delivery charges for sending the item to you. ARESA will not refund opened or used product.

8.5 You will bear the responsibility for the goods upon signing. If you believes that a parcel has been tampered with, please refuse to sign for the goods and notify ARESA.

8.6 ARESA may request for your bank account number in order to process refunds. The liability of providing the right individual’s bank account number will be on the user and the onus to ‘prove otherwise’ shall be exclusively on the user.

8.7 ARESA do not guarantee the timeliness of the refunds as we need to do our due diligent to make sure that all transactions are in order. However, in cases whereby the refunds are approved, ARESA will ensure that the refunds will be processed as soon as possible.

 

  1. Delivery of Products

9.1 Address: Delivery of the Products shall be made to the address you specify in your order.

9.2 Delivery timeframe: You acknowledge that delivery of the products is subject to availability of the products. ARESA will make every reasonable effort to deliver the product to you within the delivery timeframe stated on the relevant page on which the product is listed, but you acknowledge that while stock information on the platform is updated regularly, it is possible that in some instances a product may become unavailable between updates. All delivery timeframes given are estimates only and delays can occur. Please contact sales@aresa.sg with your order number if you do not hear from us after the stipulated timing and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

9.3 ARESA strives to ensure that all products arrive within the stipulated timing and will immediately update on the delivery status due to unforeseen circumstances to our users. All items may also be subjected to customs inspection which may require additional days.

9.4 If you fail to receive the products repeatedly despite re-delivery by ARESA, we reserve the rights to request you, the customer, to collect the product personally at our Headquarters.

9.5 If the products are not collected within 2 weeks after ARESA have given the order collection date, ARESA reserves the rights to cancel the order with no refunds given to you.

 

  1. Disclaimer of Liability

10.1 ARESA shall not be responsible and will not undertake any liability for any loss, liability, damage, personal injury or expense of any nature which may be suffered by you or any third party (including your company), as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to your access and use of the website.

 

  1. Commercial Usage

11.1 ARESA can only be used for personal usage. Do not attempt to copy or modify any content of the website and distribute, sell, display or publish them. Any commercial usage of ARESA’s content are not allowed and we reserve the right to take action against you if you choose to do so.

 

  1. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

12.1 By registering an account with ARESA, you agree to indemnify ARESA from all claims, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, obligations and damages of every kind and nature, including legal fees, arising out of
(a) your usage of ARESA’s website;
(b) your violation of any terms and conditions;
(c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party (including, without limitation, any copyright, property or privacy right); or
(d) any content you submitted that caused damage to a third party.
This indemnification obligation will not cease even if you are no longer affiliated with ARESA.

12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to applicable consumer protection provisions, ARESA is not liable for claims arising from your usage of the products. This will not limit any claim you may have against the product manufacturer under consumer protection legislation.

12.3 ARESA will not be liable for any claim arising out of your incorrect or improper use of a product, including use that does not comply with any product instructions or that would be otherwise unexpected or unreasonable.
